According to reviews, unidentified miscreants knocked on the door of the deceased, diagnosed as Vimal Kumar Yadav, and opened a hearth at him before fleeing the spot.
“In the Raniganj Bazar location, a journalist namely Vimal Kumar Yadav become shot dead by way of unidentified miscreants. A post-mortem is underway. The dog squad has been called to the homicide spot. Research is on,” Ashok Kumar Singh, Superintendent of Police, Araria, changed into quoted by ANI as saying. More info is awaited.
According to a Times Now report, Vimal’s Sarpanch brother become also killed similarly two years in the past. The two homicide cases are supposed to be interlinked because Vimal was the principal witness to his brother’s killing years ago.
Yadav was threatened on several activities for testifying in opposition to his brother’s killers in an ongoing trial.
